Works for me Wendesday

What works for me over and over again is Freecycle !
I post about it often b/c it's great.......
We picked up this brand new (Mike had to assemble) rocking horse for Titus.
I promised he liked it, until it was time to snap a shot.

On another subject, one of our Youth group grads, is studying hair.
So I signed up to be her model, and she she hightlighted my hair
and got the orange tones that blondes hate out.
Soon, she'll give me a cut, and I'll up date her work,
b/c I'm very proud of her,
and happy to have my hair done FREE !

Tackle it Tuesday

This was a simple tackle, but everything in it place helps me keep the sanity !
Today I am asisting Noah's art teacher in class, thats a tackle in reverse, as you set up supplies, then work with the kids to find thier inner artist, seriously pray for me remember I'm the Momma that has nightmares about crafts.

Friday's Brag, My Husband Rocks

Today's the DAY ! I'm going to brag about my Hubby like there is no other man on God's good green Earth ! Yesterday, he began build in a garden rock wall, b/c ours was crumbling and unsafe for our boys to play on......and you just cannot keep boys off rocks, lol.
I thought this would be my brag, since it's a task I'm totally unequipped for. Then a knock came to the front door, a sales guy, "Please go around back and see Mike, my baby is sleeping", was my retort to his beginning sales pitch. Around he went, where Mike listened to his pitch. Then Mike said to him, "I am not going to buy what you are selling,but can i sell you something"? "Sure" said the guy. Mike told me he felt the peace of God with him, so he layed out the Gospel......asked the guy who else he knew that talked like "this"......then asked him did he want to ask Jesus into his heart? And, the guy did ! What an amazing God we serve, that a backyard pitch can save a soul ! Anyhow, I am double blessed with my Hubby, b/c he not only cares and provides for his family, but also cares for the lost, and willingly gives his time. ( remember my reaction "my baby is sleeping?) LOL
I love this man, and will continue to brag about him on Fridays, so skip reading here if it makes you gag, LOL

My 10 month old thinks he can walk !

This is a special "Backwards Edition" of Works-For-Me-Wednesday, where you post your dilemmas and hope someone has a suggestion that might help.

So here's mine:
Titus will be 10 months in 4 days, but he already thinks he should be walking.
Help, I'm exhausted ! He doesn't like the walker, b/c he can't reach things, will not sit down with toys, b/c maybe there's something to pull up on. He is not coordinated to walk, stand while reaching for toys, or be safe.
He just cries in fustration 1/2 the day ! How can i help him?

This is two Noah posts in a row. Homeschool has began, therefore I'm paying close attention to his progress.
Our mornings are discombobulated as Mike is an earlybird, and I try to squeeze in every last second of laying in our too cozy bed. Mike was not pleasant this morning, and later he went to Noah to apologize. Noah's reply to Mike, " Why are you telling me? Tell God".Mike came in to tell me, and said, he's truly living up to his name.
We got such a kick out of this and it really lightened our morning.

Overjoyed !

We desperately need a new family picture ! We relied on the Lord every step of the way in building our family, we should really take the step toward a portrait updated of us together. So come the first of Oct. when the leaves of fall are changing, well get it done :)
