CVS & Walgreens

CVS was great today with cqns.......
i had CVS Bucks $6.49 to apply, and I did a couple transactions to use up the new Bucks recieved....$12.69 out-of-pocket !

At Walgreens.......I bought Hubby's favorite cereal and some more for just $14.21, including tax !

This is a great deal for us ! i get a kick out of counting how many items bought and dividing by total, to say I got 9 items at CVS for $1.40 each !
Or 9 items @ Walgreens for $1.42 each.

Teaching tying shoes !

It is a rainy day here in old Virginy......so we are working on shoe tying !
Noah is learning on Titus' baby shoe, and once he was told he must have "control" over the slippery laces, he mastered it. Man-talk wins agian in teaching this boy !

Women's Retreat-09

This is me at the Women's Retreat before the hotel food made me sick ! I wish I had an after picture, I'd be unrecognizable. Remember , my waiting for Spring post? Where is said I would wear bright colors this Spring? Well, I kept my word :)

Our retreat was based on Esther, who's name translates to "star".
We were reminded to shine brightly in this dark world, and that God can use us
just as He did her. I like that this Biblical rolemodel was an orphan placed into the most powerful palace as the Queen........we came a long way baby, no joke !

Mike drove the church bus and brought Titus, while my Mom stayed home with Noah and took him to the Circus. Everybody had a great time, and we'll be ready for next year !

Thankful Thursday

i am ever grateful for my adopted boys.......my life was so lone before them, and now when the poop hits the floor, or the bed is peed in again, I remind myself of the days I had no litte boys to clean up after and say " Thank you my sweet Jesus".

This has been a fun week for us, the weather is decent, and i've been getting
great deals at yard sales, thrift stores and grocery stores....i even got a Ladies' night out ! Now if my 15 month old would EVER start sleeping !

You know I'm addicted to Facebook, I have no shame about it......I rationalize it
all! Sitting home is better than being out, wasting gas and money, and I can reach many more friends via this website........convinced ? Anyhow, my Internet friend in MS, who knows a YMAMer, my church sponsors......bought this great kitchen canisters, and I had to have them, too.

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I did not start the week by scouring thrift shops and keeping baby up from nap, so that I could get my fix .
Nor, did I neglect, mine & Hubby's laundry......only to have Noah do his & Titus', not me I'm a nice Momma ! And, good wife for that matter.

At the wedding I did not turn a blind eye, when the chocolate strawberry tray came around, so I could yell at Hubby (in front of other guest)...."look at your son's face "! Then acted like I was busy with baby, and not attempt to help clean this face ! Nope, not I ........

These are a few of my favorite things......

I am forever trying to capture this beautiful tree in our back yard, when it's in full bloom.......and green grass make this Northeatern Moma happy, too! Our dog Shep, makes our house a cozy home too ! Happy Spring !

People were bring children to Jesus to have Him touch them, but when the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he was indignant.
