Ingredients in Plexus Slim & What They Do I’ll be the first to admit that I thought there was no way this supplement could actually be good for you. This was my opinion BEFORE I researched the ingredients in Plexus Slim. I figured there were all sorts of nasty chemicals that made it harmful to a person’s health. Ingredients in Plexus Slim So what are the ingredients in the powdered drink? Here is the list of the chemical names for the plant extracts as well as the benefits of each one. Chlorogenic Acid (Green Coffee Bean Extract) Dr. Oz recommends chlorogenic acid, this from his site, “Chlorogenic acid slows absorption of fat from food intake and also activates metabolism of extra fat.” Chlorogenic Acid is found in bamboo, prunes, peaches and other plants; known to aid in lowering blood pressure; may have antioxidant effects; can be used to reduce bitterness in food. Proprietary blend of Chlorogenic Acid from Caffea Arabica contains less than 2% natural caffeine. Citrin K (Garcinia Cambogia) This is another ingredient that Dr Oz discussed in the past. It is found in a plant grown in Indonesia. It can act as an appetite suppressant, may improve mood, aid in sleep, and help with emotional eating. Garcinia Cambogia also helps to block fat absorption. Not all Citrin K is equal in quality so be aware of that. Alpha Lipolic Acid Found naturally in the human body and can be found in certain foods such as spinach and rice bran. It is a powerful antioxidant! Alpha Lipolic Acid may aid in blood sugar control. It may also help with brain function and age related conditions. Here is what WebMD has to say about it. Mercola has an excellent article that explains the importance of ALA, (and mentions these conditions it helps with: Lupus, Rheumatoid arthritis, Dermatomyositis (an inflammatory muscle diseases, & Autoimmune diseases) Chromium (Amino Nicotinate GTF) Chromium GTF is a metal. It is known as an essential trace element. Chromium GTF is used for blood sugar control for people with Types 1 and 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, and high blood sugar due to steroids. It is also used for depression, lowering bad cholesterol, and raising good cholesterol; aids in weight loss, fat loss, and muscle gain; improves athletic performance and increases energy. Web MD has lots to say about the benefits of Chromium. Polydextrose A form of soluble fiber that can take the place of sugar in beverages. It can be used as a thickening agent and stabilizer. The polydextrose used in Slim is derived from rice and not corn. Citric Acid A weak organic acid that acts as a natural preservative. Beet Root Extract Used for coloring. Stevia Leaf Extract & Lo Han Fruit Extract Both are all-natural sweeteners that do not spike blood sugar when eaten. Pomegranite & Cherry Flavoring These are natural flavorings that you’ll find in popular organic foods. Other Positives with the Ingredients Plexus Slim does not contain MSG or other proven red-flag ingredients. Although some manufacturers play label games to hide MSG and other controversial ingredients, all the chemical names used in labeling Plexus Slim are the chemical break downs of the various plant extracts used. No MSG, no artificial, no synthetics. Plexus Slim is also gluten-free and Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. You can order all these supplements above and take them individually. Rice Krispie Snowmen w/ Grammie

My Mom came to celebrate Christmas with us Christmas Eve. She brought all the makings & plan to create rice krispie snowmen w/ my boys !

My hubby has time off, wow what a relaxed home we have right now. If he could only retire HA !
I feel really spoiled, I've gone shopping, taken quiet baths, and my nails are polished with no dents .
He tiddled with broken things around the house, and got thing twiked so they work.
Now, I need to prepare a Sunday school study, and that may take all I have.
I hope our Christmas will be this paeceful even when he's back to a crazy schedule.

Been so long

It's been so long since I've post I almost forgot how. Still at Homeschooling, and also gymnastics.

Journal,cursive,vocabulary, subtraction, making coin change,studying fish, bowling league & lots of reading out loud. That's our Sept. homeschool schedule. If I'm missing anything let me know, lol ! No don"t I'm the figure it out as we go teacher, this year. Next year we may introduce structure.

Thrift Store Galore

We luv shopping at thrift stores in the winter's months. It's an excuse to get out and we socialize with the workers, as they know my children by name. Yesterday was my only chance to get out in between blizzards, and we went straight for the thrift store. Since Noah is out of school I recruited his help w/ Titus. I told Noah to take Titus up the three steps in the middle of the store that he always begs to go up. Then I heard, " I want Momma" ! 3x ! Never happened before, but Momma he got.
Noah got a great wooden rubber band shooting gun ( didn't know what it was til Hubby told us) for $3.95. He had been begging for a BB gun so this was a great deal.
Titus bought a tractor trailer truck that hooks up by his pudgy little 2 yr old hands.
I also bought Noah a brand new with tags "Nationals" baseball shirt, $ 2.50. We googled the name on back and he was traded to Mariners, but 1st graders aren't sticklers for details, sheew ! He also got two like new pairs of Gap jeans, $2.95 each. They're still all nice and starchy.
I bought a large canvas with blue backround and a steaming cuppa Java in cream, brown and orange, but it doesn't fit the spot I had in mind. Hopefully one of my friends will come over fall in love with it and take it home. And, that's the beauty of thrift store shopping....if it doesn't work for me I can pass it along.
We've been eating a lot out of winter boredom, and have gone over budget wanting fun foods, while being stuck inside. I'll need to make up for this in the future, like possibly forgoing a new laptop....haha I kid !
Well I've had time to sort through stored clothing for my guys, and have found I may need size 3 summer clothing 4 Titus, but he's not grown in height but one inche, so may still wear last years shorts, just real short. These are the wintertime spend thrift tips I have to encourage others to make use of being stuck indoors. And, I've been dreaming of yard sales !

Christmas are you getting Ready?

Christmas is my favorite time of year, and there is much fun planned for our family.
Tonight we will tour Historical Downtown Leesburg for their First Friday night.
The local shops will be decorated, and stay open late. A young couple from our home town will be here to visit with us.
We will get our live Christmas tree, put lights on it, and hope it survives, at least until Christmas Eve. when we will put out collection of mish mash decorations.
Our church will have 4 services Christmas Eve. I will volunteer in nursery for one, sit with family for another, then eat "Pastor's & Worship teams' dinner" at another.
Fresh cold cuts and chips, lol !

Feels like Christmas

Today I received the package I won from My Litter of Six,
it's awesome ! vibrating mascara, bounce for the dryer......and more.
But i did my make-up and a load of laundry inspired to use the new products.
I wish I could say I used up the Magic Erasers scrubbing everything from the tub to the grime laden bedroom door, but alas i am moving.
Hubby needed some prescription for his dental visit coming up on Thursday,
3 prescriptions, major dental work.I started putting my feelers out to find new prescription coupons from stores to make a profit off these medicines.
No avail the Internet failed me, my blogging friends had no links, then the mail came ! Safeway wants me to renew my customer card and accept a $30 new prescription coupon, sure !
On an unrelated note my 2 yr old slept until 10 a.m., and he's not sick......thus it feels like Christmas, here.
