Pay it Forward- Homemade style

I won another Pay-it-Forward !modernjune31.blogspot.com This time the special is a homemade/craft give away,
I love getting mail. = ) Here's how it works:
The first 3 people who sign up for it are sent a handmade item from me. After signing up, they post about Pay It Forward on their own blogs and do the same, making and sending a handmade item to 3 people who sign up on their blog. And so it continues on with each person. Pay It Forwards can be any handmade item or craft that you choose to send. The items do not have to be large, just something that you have made. According to the rules, you have 365 days to make & send the PIFs but most send them out much sooner. If you are interested in signing up, send an email or post a comment saying so. Once I contact you to let you know that you are one of the first 3 to sign up, you can then go ahead and post on your own blog about Pay It Forward. It sounds like a lot of fun and I am looking forward to doing this!

Why does Sundance cataloge suggest any women who is looking to wear a bathing suit skirt.......think we'd look like this ?
Give it up ! We'd be wearing biknis' had we those abs !
And, the tiny print ? Yeah, right ! As if we'd wrap little flowers around what we are aiming to spare the world of.......does it sound like I may need to excerce?

Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for this little guy, who is growing before my eyes each day.
Since my surgery I been relying on everybody in my life from my Husband, to my Mom, and many friends who have stepped into my life to give helpful hands.
Honestly, this blessing of a son has brought me such healing, for example
* he picked Titus up when I could not, & opened doors at every turn
* told me to call the Dr. if I was still hurting
* asked Daddy why I'd have a mole removed, because it makes me beautiful
* brought me cold water on his own doing
* hugged me goodnight and tucked me in when I wasn't strong enough to tuck him in
* and countless other acts of service to show his love
And, for all this I am thankful :)

So Very ready for Spring !

I am looking forward to getting out of the house, doing activities that are outdoors.
We've had a mild winter thus far, but walking home from Noah's bus stop on a sunny day leaves me wanting more......loke a walk to play in the stream, or pinic.
This Spring I plan to join a Mops group,make more crafts, wear brighter colors, and garden......so bring it on !

I saw a quote the other day that read "Mom's of boys are up with son until the son goes down"........and long days they are ! But totally worth while ;)
